Joe began his journey in television in Boston working at the Chedd/Angier Production Company in the late 90’s Shooting, Editing and Coordinating for several PBS series including the Emmy® award winning Scientific American Frontiers.
From there, Joe moved south to Orlando and began his career in sports television working for the Orlando Magic as their Senior Editor, and Feature Producer, responsible for pre-game and halftime features, graphics packages, in-arena entertainment and promotions.
Seven years later, he found himself back in the Northeast working at ESPN on high profile projects including Monday Night Football, FIFA World Cup, NBA, MLB and Golf. While there he received 2 National Sports Emmy® awards among several nominations. He has also been recognized for 2 NYC Film Festival awards.
In 2014 he won his third National Sports Emmy® award and in 2015, his fourth, both for Outstanding Studio Show – Weekly for College GameDay. 2016 brought wins for Outstanding Studio Show – Weekly for College GameDay and Outstanding Trans-Media Sports Coverage – College Football Megacast. Most recently he won his 7th Emmy® award for Outstanding Studio Show – Weekly for College GameDay.
When he’s not editing, you are likely to find Joe on the Disc Golf course, or tending to his garden.
